Chattanooga, Tennessee Chapter

 

Organized in 1942, the Chattanooga Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals® exists to promote the admin-istrative profession. 

IAAP's international headquarters is located in Kansas City, Missouri.  IAAP is an organization for office professionals who share mutual interests and desire to elevate the standards of the administrative profession. Among our ranks are administrative assistants, office managers, executive secretaries, information specialists, meeting coordinators and other related administrative professionals.

IAAP membership offers the opportunity to grow intellectually and professionally, to exchange ideas with others having similar interests, to work in community projects, and to assist young people in preparing for office professional careers.

The Chattanooga Chapter of IAAP is one of the largest of the 18 chapters in the Tennessee Division, with membership averaging 50 administrative professionals.

               

Mission:

To be the acknowledged, recognized leader of administrative professionals and to enhance their individual and collective value, image, competence, and influence.

               

Purpose:

To provide information, education, and training and to set standards of excellence recognized by the business community on a global perspective.

               

Objective:

To elevate the standards of all administrative professions and to promote their working relationships with management through continuing education, authorized programs, and publications.

  Vision: To inspire and equip all administrative professionals to attain excellence.
